For starters, the new Explorer debuts an all-new trim model, the rugged Tremor! With a unique off-road-tuned suspension, underbody protection, and four-wheel drive, this SUV was practically designed to delve into our Sportsman’s Paradise.

For 2026, the hands-free BlueCruise driving system is optional for the ST-Line and Tremor and standard for the ST and Platinum. No matter which trim model you select, though, you’ll need a subscription to activate this technology (a one-time purchase is also available). And speaking of technology, every Explorer now comes with a one-year subscription to the Ford Connectivity Package. Its many amenities include unlimited Wi-Fi data, built-in navigation, and the ability to stream movies on your central touchscreen (when your Explorer is parked, anyway).
